With daily cooperation and assistance from over 500 students at Manoa Elementary, our sustainability coordinator collected and processed thousands of pounds of food and milk waste!  One hundred percent is composted in hot compost piles behind the campus next to the community garden.

The finished product is dark, nutrient-rich compost.

Pickup details and instructions:

• What to bring: Cash (exact change) and your own container. A 5-gallon bucket will fit 1 cubic foot of compost.
• Where: Manoa Elementary School front office, Enter through Olopua Street via Manoa Road.
• When: Thursday, November 11, 2021, 9am to 1pm (Veterans Day)
• Please don’t show up without an order reservation
• Please observe COVID-19 safety precautions to include wearing face masks and staying in your car until it is your turn to be assisted
